The first passion I discovered was cooking, at the age of 12. During that time, I discovered my love of preparing healthy meals. And then, at the age of 17, I started watching cooking shows on TV, and began to write my own cookbook and prepare meals for my family and friends. Tragically, that book has now been lost, but one day I hope to publish “Diana’s Cookbook Version 2.0”!.
My nutrition journey began at 18 while working in sales management for women's fashion. I observed people facing health challenges such as confidence issues, mental health concerns, and body image issues, regardless of their weight. I found myself listening empathetically to their health concerns, but at the same time, feeling helpless. Around the same time, I chose to become a vegetarian. However, maintaining a healthy vegetarian lifestyle indicated challenges due to a lack of knowledge about a healthy vegetarian diet. These personal experiences fueled my desire to study nutrition, and now help myself and others on their health journey and make me more curious to explore choices which contribute to physical and mental well-being.
In 2021, my dreams started to come to fruition. I obtained my diploma of health science in 2022 and continued my Bachelor's degree to get my Bachelor's of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition) in 2023 at Torrens University Australia.
So, here I am, a certified practising nutritionist, excited to bring you on this journey! I support you until you achieve your goals and live a happy life.
And always remember, you're not alone; we all face challenges but overcome them with love and support, emerging more powerful than ever before.
Why is my Logo an Earth within an Apple Shape?
Here's the story: I have been a vegetarian for 9 years. My eating habits weren't the best in the first 3 years of my vegetarian journey. I clearly remember having an apple for lunch- it sounds crazy and unbelievable, and I'm as surprised as you are. During that time, I struggled to maintain a balanced diet, often consuming minimal amounts of food because I didn't know how to choose a healthy vegetarian diet. Luckily, my health remained okay.
So, APPLE, the gift from the EARTH, literally saved my life.
I share this story not to encourage anyone to do the same but to emphasise the importance of seeking help if you're struggling with a similar situation, are not consuming nutritious foods, and lack knowledge about nutrition and healthy eating. Understanding these factors and their role in our health is crucial. I'm here to guide and support you towards a healthier, happier you.
